 The converter simplifies the wired connection of the DoorBird video door intercoms. You do not have to lay a LAN cable to the system. A 2-wire bell wire is sufficient.

 The converter consists of a transmitter and a receiver. Both support POE + (Power over Ethernet). Connect the transmitter to a router or switch with POE + connection. With a router and switch without POE + support, you still need a PoE injector for power supply.

 Data and electricity are transmitted via a cable. You are free to choose the location of PoE-capable network devices.
