What is a battery module? A battery module is a combination of several individual batteries that, when connected in series or parallel, provide either a higher voltage or a higher capacity. In our battery modules, we use three 12V/12Ah lead-acid batteries connected in series.
What voltage does the battery module operate at? The BM3612.01 and BM3612.02 battery modules available in our shop deliver a voltage of 36V, making them ideal as backup batteries for the Loxone Power Supply and Backup.
What is the capacity of the battery module? Both modules have a capacity of 12 Ah.
What does the capacity of a battery module indicate? Capacity is a measure of the amount of charge the battery module can store. The unit is ampere-hours (Ah). So, 12 Ah means the module can deliver 12 A for 1 hour.
Bei welcher Umgebungstemperatur soll ich mein Batterimodul optimal betreiben? Die optimale Umgebungstemperatur für den Betrieb des Batteriemoduls liegt bei Raumtemperatur. Eine zu hohe Umgebungstemperatur kann die Lebensdauer der Batterien negativ beeinflussen. Genaueres können sie auch aus dem Datenblatt entnehmen.
How long can I power my application with the battery module? That depends on your application. When fully charged, the battery module can supply 12A for 1 hour. If your consumption is 24A, for example, the battery module can only supply this current for 30 minutes.
