LED strips
Whether as homogeneous indirect lighting or direct lighting for maximum light output. With the right lighting, the gaze is directed and a feel-good atmosphere is created. In addition to the basic lighting - LED spots are ideally suited for this (!) - you can set individual light accents! For example, highlighting your own photo gallery or particularly beautiful objects!
The choice of color for the LED strips is entirely up to the customer, we certainly have the right product ready. Whether pleasant warm white (2700K) LED strips - which is widely perceived as cozy, pleasant light, or classic neutral white (e.g. 4000K) . In addition, we also have cold white LED strips (6000K) - which is often used for contrast accentuation - in our portfolio.
And if you can't / don't want to make a decision, then ours are Tuneable White - LED Stripes the excellent solution. They impress with their problem-free color setting between 2700K and 6000K. For example, for more concentrated activities, you simply set the color tone more towards neutral / cold white and to relax on warm white. Of course we also have RGBW LED strips in program. With the basic colors (red, green, blue) almost all colors of visible light can be generated by means of additive color mixing. This guarantees brilliant lighting moods. The additional white LED can not only be used to adjust the color saturation, but also provides enough white light when color accentuation is not desired.
LED stripes in living rooms
For a long time now, LED strips have not only been used for effective ambient lighting in living spaces. They are finding their way into almost every room in your home! For excellent visibility in the kitchen (our high color rendering index> 90 is particularly valued here), for example as base cabinet lighting or as indirect lighting for the conscious eye-catcher of the guests. The bathroom is increasingly becoming an oasis of wellbeing. Appropriately designed light scenes help us relax. Our LED stripes - together with the LED spots - are used here for both basic lighting and charming accent lighting. For special requirements, we have LED strips with increased IP protection 68 in our portfolio.
The versatile LED strips are even used again and again as functional lighting. White LED strips with lower light output are often used for shelf and box interior lighting. Due to the simple assembly, they are also ideally suited for this.
What should you watch out for when buying LED strips?
Good quality, of course! But we would like to explain in more detail what good quality means:
The color rendering index (CRI): This indicates what percentage of the colors are reproduced correctly and naturally. The majority of our competitors have chosen a CRI of 80 for themselves. Emilum is not satisfied with that! That is why we offer our LED strips with a CRI greater than 90!
LED strips should be as efficient as possible! The worse the efficiency, the more energy is converted into heat and is reflected in the electricity bill at the end of the day. That is why we place the highest value on efficiency when selecting the LEDs and their control electronics
Individually adjustable lengths: LED strips should be easy to divide into smaller sections (in our case, scissors are sufficient). But if you've cut too short here and don't want to use the soldering iron, that's no problem either. We offer connectors for easy extension of the LED strips.
Service life: In order to achieve the longest possible service life, attention must be paid to many parameters. Starting with the built-in electronics to the adhesive tape used. Otherwise, orderly heat dissipation is no longer guaranteed.
Long-lasting operation and LED strip accessories
For long-lasting operation of the LED strips, they should always be well cooled. Our Aluminum profiles (both surface-mounted and built-in variants) are not only ideal for this, but can also be provided with different (clear / satined) optics. As your complete supplier, we also offer matching end caps - with and without cable outlet.
While we're at it: LED strips also want to be supplied. For this purpose, 24VDC safety extra-low voltage is used. You only calculate the required power and then choose that matching power supply from our online shop.
